This antique diamond ring is breathtakingly beautiful. At the center is a 1.28 carat Old European Brilliant Cut diamond, certified by GIA as I color and SI2 clarity. Its beautifully chunky antique faceting gives it that unmistakable character and lively fire that makes Old European diamonds so beloved.

Surrounding the center is a delicate halo of 14 petite diamonds, each measuring approximately 1.8mm, creating a softly scalloped, floral frame that enhances the center stone beautifully without overwhelming it. 

The ring is crafted in 18K yellow gold with a platinum-topped setting and finished with an exceptionally slender gold shank. The combination of the delicate band, platinum diamond cluster, and generous antique center gives this ring an incrediblyy elegant presence on the hand. 

Dating to the late 1800s to early 1900s, this is a beautiful example of the transistion into the era of antique jewelry when Old European cuts and platinum began to take their place in fine jewelry design.
