A beautifully detailed vintage sterling silver heart locket, featuring dimensional floral and scrolling repoussé decoration. The intricate raised design has a wonderfully tactile quality, with subtle evidence of the handwork used to create its ornamentation.

The locket has a substantial domed form, articulated hinge, integrated opening notch, and ornate decorative bail. The interior is marked 925 along with an additional small maker's mark. I love how versatile this locket is. Wear it on a silver or gold chain, mix it with other necklaces, or style it on a ribbon for a more collected, vintage look.
