This exceptional antique ring centers a lovely round turquoise cabochon surrounded by a halo of twelve hand-cut rose diamonds, with two additional rose cuts adorning the shoulders for a total of fourteen diamonds. The turquoise has a beautiful soft blue-green color and wonderfully domed form, while each rose-cut diamond has the individual character and chunky, hand-cut facets I love about antique diamonds.

The pierced, petal-like gallery beneath the stones is especially beautiful, giving the ring wonderful dimension and revealing the craftsmanship of its time. Measuring approximately 15mm across the head and 20mm from shoulder to shoulder, it has a lovely presence on the hand without feeling overwhelmingly large. The profile rises approximately 11mm from the finger.
